and I can see why - it has the look that I associate with some HDR images.

However it was done, it's definitely "my sort of thing".

No, it is not HDR, but I can see why you asked. I did a duplicate layer and applied a filter- Poster Edges - but I can't remember the settings! Then I reduced the layer opacity to 47% (yes, I remembered that bit!) and altered the blend mode to Opacity (or one in the same set.)

I think you two need practice. I can manage more than three (pretty hefty) G&Ts before such an image shouldn't be looked at.
